Shining Through
This song reminds me that we all have shine. No one of us is less than another. We can, and do, all shine through.
Ray, the Man with the Slow Beat Plow
Western flavor guitar song. Written with my wife's dad in mind. A very deliberate, slow moving man. He used to own a farm. Don't know if he ever touched a plow behind a horse, but if he did, you can bet that he controlled the horse just so, and in a slow and easy way.
Marak in Africa
Imagine waking up and finding yourself in a tent,- it's so hot. You hear quiet, lingering, haunting melody. Through the tent flap you see a girl dancing. You look around and the only word that you can recognize and read anywhere in the tent is the word 'Morocco'.
Cool Rhythm
I ad-libbed this guitar rhythm a few years ago. I've really liked it ever since. It does remind me of a song called 'Take Five' by Dave Brubeck, though no similarity is in any way intentional.
His Very Favorite Blue
This is a vocal. It is not blues by any means, but it does have a blue feel, and a nice one at that, hence the name. The song is dedicated to those who have awakened to the fact that eventually, life needs to have a meaning for them. Some have decided what they want that meaning to be. Some people believe that if you want something, all you need to get it is the decision to get it.
