The For Star Romance
A vocal piece written for my wife, who I call Star, in the early days of our relationship. Since we lived far apart, thinking about each other was about all we could do. She's an author, and had written an article which I read on MSN. I e-mailed her to tell her 'cool article', and we started writing back and forth, separated by 500 miles too much distance to enable us to meet or even see each other until we had developed quite a strong relationship. P.S. we didn't even share pictures of each other. Quite an experiment turned out well.

A Long, Long Tuesday Until Friday
I used to have to drive 500 miles twice on the weekend to see the woman who I later married. The weekends being the only time that we could see each other, made Tuesday seem a long, long time from Friday. Here was a Tuesday on which I wrote a song about it, and Ryan Butler ran the recording session.
Mr. Two Step
Picture the guy in the tux, top hat and black, jewel-topped walking stick. Both hands are on the top of the stick supporting him, as he struts forth and struts back.
