To the Fireflies That Night
Summer night and we watch the many fireflies. An ether of life weaves its way through this evening sky.
Coconut Avenue
If you were lounging on a tropical beach doing absolutely NOTHING, to a blue sky and relaxed waves, you wouldn't be more lazy and laid back than this tune.
Follow Me Home
A plain song, kind of like a solitary walk you might take to gather your thoughts on an overcast day. Well, everything's okay, just thinkin'.
Tough Luck
A hard-nosed, aggressive song. As a listener, it makes me feel that if I don't like the forceful way this song comes at me, then that's just MY tough luck.
What I Know
You could say that this song is based on the concept of the foundation created by 'certain knowledge' about something. One of the most important manifestations of the power of Truth is the strength possesed by someone who knows the truth of something. On another hand, the music of this song is a prime illustration of lead guitar playing which is done with an eye toward how the guitarist feels at the moment, not toward making a melodic structure. The melodic structure is there of course, but in this case, it is the outcome of notes played in an arhythmic way, in the same way that the words that you use in a conversation are not rhythmic. That is, when you are talking to someone, your words are used to convey a message, and they are not used to develop some kind of rhythmic-sounding word structure.
