Cheat sheet

Since so much guitar is done in E, here’s a beginner’s small cheat sheet. 

If you want to play a lead in Em, play your scale form on either the 12th fret or the zero fret, same thing. (on the zero fret, all the lowest notes [in the brown] will be ‘open’ strings of course)

That’s it. Good job, keep playin’. :)

If you want to play a lead in E major, use your scale form on the 9th fret.
